ASSIGNMENT REQUIREMENTS FOR EACH STUDENT:
There must be multiple (colorful) paths that flow into and around your artwork. (The paths must lead the viewer's eye).
You must illustrate traveling through something like a doorway/ portal to another place.
You must also illustrate an unfinished journey without an end.
Your perspective must be correct and intentional throughout your piece.
You are the hero of your life's journey. Throughout your journey, you will travel a straight path, while other times, you will travel a curved path. Each path will present different challenges for you on your Hero's Journey.
When you are young, you tend to believe your life path is set. One of the many gifts of art is that it teaches us how to expect the unexpected. Art requires both straight and curved paths to exist.
